WHAT DO MEMBERS GET

Depending on your chosen membership category, members can look forward to:

  • Unlimited access to play tennis all day, every day of your membership (subject to court availability – check fixtures diary in advance)

  • Privileged access to booking and playing in our new Air Dome court at preferential rates

  • Organised Club play, allowing you to meet and play with members and build a network of ‘hitting’ partners

  • Social tennis – friendly mixed doubles every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening

  • Ladies Practice Night – Monday nights from 6.00pm

  • Mens Practice Night – every Wednesday night from 6.00pm

  • 25% discount on coaching sessions in our Head Coach's programme

  • Competitive team match tennis in local Northumberland & Durham Inter-Club League, LTA National League and local Winter League competitions. We run up to 30 teams covering:

    • Ladies and Mens Doubles

    • Ladies, Mens and Mixed (O45 & O60) Veterans Doubles

    • Junior Girls and Boys (U8, U9, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18) Singles and Doubles

  • Inclusion in the annual ballot for Wimbledon tickets

  • Use of the Clubhouse with full changing, toilet and kitchen facilities

  • Participation in Club social events

  • Comfort of being a member of an LTA-registered, Tennismark accredited Club with effective policies and procedures in place to ensure proper safeguarding and protection of children, Health & Safety on site, First Aid and Welfare systems and a full commitment to providing an environment of equality and diversity and a warm welcome to all

  • The freedom to wear whatever you are comfortable in to play! Our only stipulation is for suitable footwear (trainers, tennis shoes etc) to protect our court surface please

  • Opportunity to borrow racquets and balls while you work your way into the sport and decide what your personal preferences are

  • Discount on Venue Hire for private functions at the Clubhouse

Memberships are available for all ages and levels of play and it’s just a matter of selecting the level of membership that suits your personal requirements. We offer individual and family memberships to suit all needs.

Don’t worry if you’re not sure of the exact level you need, we’re a friendly Club and we’d love for you to get in touch so a member can give you some advice on what will suit you best.
